BioMAX HEPA Filters
BioMAX HEPA Filters are designed to provide the highest level of filtration available for commercial and industrial applications. These filters are widely used in hospitals, clean rooms, pharmaceutical plants, and various other systems where clean air is critical.
BioMAX HEPA Filters are constructed using the highest quality components and are available in efficiencies of 99.97%, 99.99%, and 99.999% on 0.3-micron size particles. Standard BioMAX HEPA Filters are manufactured with galvanized steel or particle board cell sides, with multiple cell side options available.
BioMAX Performance Testing
Prior to shipment, each BioMAX HEPA Filter is individually tested for efficiency using non-toxic polyalphaolefin (PAO) to ensure that it meets the required efficiency specifications.
After testing, depending on the customer's acceptance criteria, BioMAX filters may also be scanned for pinhole leaks using a high-intensity light or a custom-built laser photometer. Once testing is complete, each filter is certified, labeled with its serial number, and all data is recorded and retained.
BioMAX Construction
Standard BioMAX HEPA Filters are constructed with a choice of 18-gauge galvanized steel or durable particle board cell sides. For specialized applications, options include stainless steel, aluminum, and aluminized steel. The media is made from submicron glass fibers formed into a water-resistant, high-efficiency, high-density wet-laid paper mat, fire-retardant to 1000°F (538°C).
BioMAX HEPA Filters come with neoprene gaskets installed on the downstream side to prevent leakage between the filter and the frame. Corrugated aluminum separators maintain precise pleat spacing and ensure proper airflow. Each separator is reinforced for extra durability to prevent damage to the air filter media.
